Pistachio burns due to consumption of high amounts of mineral oils and Iranian Pistachio chemicals
Excessive consumption of mineral oils such as velvet and cytovit oils and chemicals such as pesticides and foliar sprays of nutrients can also cause burn spots on pistachio fruits and leaves. This type of burn is seen in chemical sprays, especially in the area under the fruit.
