Contraindications for using dried bananas

Consuming unripe bananas causes constipation.

Bananas are flatulent and excessive consumption, especially in cold-tempered people, causes gas production.

Due to its abundant starch, excessive consumption of this fruit causes tooth decay. Therefore, be sure to brush your teeth after eating it.

Those whose tongue swells or boils after consuming bananas should drink a few drops of lemon juice immediately after eating them.

Due to its high sugar content, bananas are harmful for people with diabetes and should not be consumed excessively.

Banana drying method

We can use two methods to dry bananas;

The first method: drying in the oven

Choose a few perfectly ripe, unblemished and undamaged bananas. Be careful, any rotting and crushing of the banana becomes more visible when the fruit dries and gives a bad taste to the fruit.

After peeling the bananas, cut them into rings with a knife. The diameter of the slices should be the same size and thin between 5 and 6 mm.

To prevent bananas from turning black during drying, you can dip them in lemon juice and pineapple juice.

Cover the baking tray with greaseproof paper and arrange the banana rings on it. Be careful not to stack the rings.

Set the oven temperature to 90°C and place the tray containing the bananas in the oven and place a round pizza grid on them to prevent them from shrinking during drying.

Visit the fruits every two hours and turn them over.

After 6 hours, take the dried bananas out of the oven and put them in plastic or glass containers. Leave the containers open for 4 to 5 days so that any remaining moisture from the banana drying process can evaporate. Dried bananas have a leather-like texture.
